    Twilight view of downtown Winston

Old Pa Pitt’s usual subject is Pittsburgh. In the late winter of 2025, he found himself in Winston-Salem for three days with nothing to do but walk around (it’s a delightful city for walking), and he came back with so many pictures that he had to build a new site just to hold them all.

You can just scroll through the pictures, which are deliberately mixed up to give a pleasing variety. Or you can look at the alphabetical index to see if you can find anything specific.

Since Father Pitt is an out-of-towner, corrections and amplifications from people who know the city are welcome and received with earnest gratitude.
